The Donald Savage Theater and Communication Building originally served as the college's gymnasium, complete with pool.
The building, formerly called the Theater Arts Building, was renamed in 2005 in honor of Donald Savage, the retired Buffalo State theater professor who mentored countless students who went on to careers in the performing arts.
