E. H. Butler Library

If the Campbell Student Union is the center if student life on campus, then E. H. Butler Library is the epicenter of academic learning. The library has more than 675,000 printed books, over 174,000 electronic books, and access to full-text articles from over 57,000 unique print and electronic journals. Wireless Internet access is available in several locations in the library.

History

E. H. Butler Library was named for Edward Hubert Butler Sr., founder of the Buffalo Evening News and president of the Buffalo State College Board of Directors (now the College Council) until his death in 1914.
