Bishop Hall

Originally built as a dorm for male students, Bishop Hall was constructed at the same time as Perry Hall. Today, Bishop Hall contains academic offices and classrooms for a wide range of academic departments.

Inside: classrooms, computer labs, offices; Bishop B32, B35, B36 are wireless Internet hot spots.

History

Bishop Hall was dedicated to Irving Bishop, a science teacher at Buffalo Normal School from 1899 to 1912.

Gov. Nelson Rockefeller attended this building’s cornerstone-laying ceremony in 1959.
