History

Moore Complex, originally Moore Dining Hall, was completely renovated and converted to student apartments in 1998.

Moore Complex was named in memory of area civic leader Frank C. Moore, who oversaw the formative stages of the State University of New York and served until 1966 as chair of the SUNY Board of Trustees. He also served as New York State lieutenant governor and state comptroller.
