History

Upton Hall was dedicated to the memory of Daniel Sherman Upton, third principal of the Buffalo Normal School and promoter of industrial arts education.

Previously known as Upton Hall Auditorium, Warren Enters Theatre was fully refurbished in 2003 and dedicated to Professor Emeritus Warren Enters, the Tony Award–winning director who taught at Buffalo State from 1968 to 1992. Enters also served as associate director of Studio Arena Theatre from 1967 to 1981.
