Bulger Communication Center

If you are a new student, some of your first classes will likely be held in Bulger Communication Center. This circular brick building contains some of the largest lecture halls and classrooms on campus.

During the semester, Bulger Communication Center hosts many of the guest lectures, panel discussions, film screenings, and other special events that take place during Bengal Pause (the free time scheduled every Tuesday and Thursday from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.).

• Large lecture halls and classrooms
• Lounge areas with plenty of bench space and wireless Internet access.

Services and Programs

• Instructional Resources, providing media support and audiovisual loan services to the campus, is located in the basement
• The College Based Transition Program, collaborative initiative of the Buffalo Public Schools, People Inc., and Buffalo State assists students with special needs who are transitioning from high school to college

History

The Bulger Communication Center is named for Paul G. Bulger, Buffalo State's president from 1959 to 1966.
